About Dr Robert A Harrington
Dr Robert A Harrington is a Professor of Medicine at Duke University, Director of the Duke Clinical Research Institute, and a practicing interventional cardiologist. He is the recipient of an NIH Roadmap contract to investigate “best practices” among clinical trial networks, and is a Fellow of the ACC, AHA, SCAI, and American College of Chest Physicians. In addition, he currently serves as a member of the FDA Cardiovascular and Renal Drugs Advisory Committee and is a member of the NHLBI’s study section for clinical trials. A member of the ACC’s Board of Trustees, Dr Harrington chaired the ACC 2006 Annual Scientific Sessions.
