Cardiac CT imaging has emerged as an important tool in the armamentarium of the clinical cardiologist. What are the best ways to get trained? Cardiology fellow Dr Michael Blaha talks to Dr Matthew Budoff, president of  the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT), about training, how CT imaging is the "mammogram of the heart," the failure of biomarkers to stratify risk, and the issue of radiation risk.

Drs Budoff and Blaha have no relevant financial relationships to disclose.
